BATON ROUGE, La. Thursday, March 17, 2022 – Winners of the 2022 Louisiana Association of Broadcasters’ (LAB) Prestige Awards were announced Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the 2022 Prestige Awards Luncheon held at the Renaissance Hotel in Baton Rouge. The Prestige Awards welcomed over 200 guests to celebrate the works of Louisiana Broadcasters. The event was emceed by Lisa Janes, awards presented by Miss Louisiana, Julia Claire Williams, and executed by Todd Monnin, Hometown Productions.
The annual competition is sponsored by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters to recognize excellence in broadcasting and outstanding achievements by Louisiana radio and television broadcasters. This year the LAB received over 230 entries.
“Our Prestige Awards is a true example of the excellence in Louisiana Broadcasting. We are so proud of our Radio & Television Stations and what they do to help their communities’ day in and day out. This event gives us a chance to recognize and thank our Louisiana broadcasters for representing the best of the best.” said LAB President and CEO, Polly Prince Johnson.

Founded in 1947, the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters is the only statewide organization dedicated, solely, to promoting and protecting the interests of Louisiana's Broadcast Industry. Our goal is to provide a stable governmental and community environment in which Louisiana Radio and Television Stations may continue to fulfill the needs and desires of their listening and viewing audiences. Regular membership is open to Radio and Television stations licensed in Louisiana by the FCC.
